We had the best Valentine's Day Weekend at the Storm household this year.
This sweet little babe celebrated his second Valentine's Day by making us a butterfly card with his footprints. He was sick going into the holiday but mad a quick recovery and rebound by the weekend.
I love this Little Guy Big Heart shirt - it is hard to find Valentine's clothes for boys! Roman used to have it when he was a kiddo (maybe as a 4 year old?) and I happened to find a baby version at a thrift store. :)
I captured some photos of my 3 little loves in the morning.
And then we headed off to daycare and school.
Because it was a special day, we stopped at Dunkin Donuts before school. No better way to start the day!
Roman had a very big day because he celebrated both his 100th day of school + had a Valentine's Party on this Friday. Here he is sporting his 100 day crown + Valentine's shirt + a very sticky ring pop.
Here is his sweet Valentine's bag from school - full of cards and treats!
We had a special family supper of pasta, everyone had a fun Dollar Store Valentine's Balloon tied to their chair.
We had a fun dessert and exchanged little gifts.
I just love this card that Roman made for his sister; he had sort of a scavenger hunt for Lucy to find her gift.
On Saturday the big kids went to their usual art class at UW-EC. On this day they weaved rainbows and made paper heart cutouts.
Leo wanted to have a seat on that fun bench too!
On Saturday night Dan and I dropped off the big kids at AKF for a Parent's Night Out. Yay!
We kicked off our Valentine's date at the Lazy Monk Brewery.
We enjoyed some beer and looked at maps of Germany on the walls. We had a great time mapping out our upcoming plans to visit Munich, southern Germany, and Austria later this summer.
We had the most handsome little third wheel crash our date night!
After our brews we walked across the street to eat at Stella's a cajun restaurant. The lighting was dim but the food was amazing, check out these shrimp and scallops. Yum!
We had the best time! :)
Before I close this post, I had to include this hilarious little nugget courtesy of Roman. We went to church on Valentine's weekend, the children were supposed to learn about words of love and respect during their Sunday School lesson. I asked Romy to tell me about his class, he shared his homework and proudly showed me how he had scribbled mustaches all over everyone's faces. Hahaha!
