Happy Easter!

Dan and I spent Easter weekend in South Dakota with our families! We had a wonderful holiday. The ladies spent Friday going to garage sales in Sioux Falls. I think that Mom found the most treasures - lots of cute stuff for the grandbabies!

On Saturday we went to Mitchell and visit Grandma and Grandpa Storm. We had a great time visiting and playing games. It was Grandma's birthday so we went out for dinner. Happy Birthday Grandma!

On Easter Sunday we went to church and had egg bake. Good stuff. :) Paul went on a hunt for his Easter basket and it was beautiful outside so we flew a kite and played with the dogs outdoors. We had a wonderful lunch with the Hoekman's.

The best part of Easter weekend was that Dan and I were able to tell our families that we are going to have a baby! We are so excited. I am currently 13 weeks pregnant, our little babe is due the end of October/early November. The official due date is November 2nd. Everything is going well so far! Get ready for lots of baby blog posts! :)

Storm Family Weekend

Yikes - This is a long overdue post! Dan and I spent a Storm family weekend in March. Ken, Nola and Brad drove in from Fargo and we all met at Amelia's house in St. Paul. Chief and Scout were very excited to play with their cousin Hayley. We played games, watched movies, and had a celebratory dinner for Dr. Dan at Buca di Beppo. :)

Dan received a celebration cake complete with candelabra. Very fancy! The cake was awesome!

Dan received some great gifts including a Top Dog mug, a picture frame with people worshipping him, and a PhD Koozie.

He also got a beautiful wooden nameplate. We are very proud of you Daniel J. Storm, PhD! Thanks for a great weekend, Storm family!

Happy Spring!

Dan and I have 2 garden plots - one at our house and one at a Community Garden a few blocks away. Last weekend we had our garden registration and kickoff - a sure sign of spring!!

We are getting ready for our spring planting including swiss chard, spinach, lettuce, peas, radishes, and kohlrabi.
