Perfecting the stink eye

Most of the time our sweet baby girl has a happy disposition. We are lucky to have such an easygoing, mellow baby. Normally she looks like this:

But, if Lucy is not happy, she has a great angry face. Here are some pictures of Lucille perfecting her stink eye after way too many photo sessions. :)

We love your little face - happy or angry!

Family Time

Lucy has had lots of family time lately! Grandpa Ken and Grandma Nola came to visit for a week around the Thanksgiving holiday. Most of the week was spent holding the babe and working around the house. Thank you so much for all of your help Mom and Dad Storm! We appreciate it!

Here is a recent picture of our little peanut.

Feeding time with Dad. :)

Our little family of 3.

Grandma Nola and Grandpa Ken got I love Lucy shirts to commemorate their new granddaughter. Super cute.

Cuddling with Aunt Amelia.

Lounging with Uncle Brad.

Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Glen holding their grandbaby. Sorry Grandpa Glen - I don't have any Thanksgiving photos of you and Lucy so I substituted with a hospital pic. :)

Lucy met her Uncle Kevin, Auntie Katie, and cousin Anna over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Anna was very proud of her new cousin. She was great about giving hugs and kisses to little Lucy.

Thanks for visiting us everyone!! We love you!

Turkey Day!

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had a great Turkey Day at the Storm household. It was a full house - both sets of grandparents, aunt Amelia, uncle Brad, aunt Katie, uncle Kevin, and cousin Anna came to celebrate. We had an awesome celebration. We are blessed with our amazing family and we are so very thankful for our healthly and happy little daughter.

Little Lucy was the star attraction. We almost had to use a kitchen timer to monitor the amount of time she spent in everyone's arms.

Lucy was decked out for Thanksgiving with her bib, book, and sweet acorn hat. :)

I have started pumping once a day so that Dad can feed the baby and so that Lucille can practice eating out of a bottle. Here is a picture of Daniel feeding Lucy her Thanksgiving milk.

We had a great meal thanks to Grandma Nola and Grandma Sharon!

We didn't have enough room in the kitchen or dining room to serve the food so we set up shop on the bar in the basement!

Since Daniel is officially a Dad now he got the honor of carving the turkey.

After the meal, we relaxed with the dogs - Chief and Scout. Their cousin Haley was also celebrating with us but I didn't get a picture of her!

Kevin, Katie, Anna and I went to exercise at the park.

We swung, went down the slide, and tried to figure out what this blue surfboard type playground toy is....

We played with the iPad...

Looked through the ads and strategized for Black Friday...

...and hung out with the baby! Thanks Hoekman and Storm families for a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!

The Latest and Greatest with Lucy

We have had a great week with baby Lucy. She continues to be an amazing little girl!

We tried out our Moby wrap. It works great! It frees up your hands to do laundry, blog posts, etc. :) Lucy just snuggles right in when I wear it, I feel like I am pregnant again.

This weekend we had lots of visitors including Grandma Nola and Grandpa Ken from North Dakota!

Shoshana came over to hold little Lucille. She brought a nice stoller toy for the baby. Thanks for stopping by!!

Ann and Isaac came over too - they brought an adorable hat that looks like a little acorn. Super cute!! Just perfect for a fall baby. Thanks Watt family!

Dad and Grandpa went deer hunting near Richland Center this weekend. They didn't shoot any deer but they did bring back this sweet blanket crafted by Cathy. It is awesome and Lucy loves being wrapped up in it. Thank you!

Guest Post!!!

Hello everybody. This is Andrea's lesser half, Daniel. I hacked into Andrea's blog so I could write a quick post. Andrea wrote about the labor, but I just wanted to let everyone know just how awesome and impressive she was during the labor. From the 1st contraction to Lucy's birth, the labor was about 31 hours! If that sounds like a long time, you're right, it was. Throughout, Andrea was a trooper. As you know, labor is an extremely intense physical and mental trial. Andrea met the challange with focus, grit, and determination. I've never been so impressed with her. The nurses and the doc seemed generally impressed with her as well. One of the nurses kept saying how Andrea was a 'rock star'. I am so grateful to Andrea for bringing our beautiful daughter into this world. She is incredible.

Speaking of our beatiful daughter. Lucille is doing well. She's not much for conversation and she doesn't laugh at my jokes, but other than that she is great. Here is a random photo of her.
